Administration/customer services

Our administration and customers service team is one of the back bones of our company. This is a highly active role that requires problem solving skills, strong communication skills and the ability to work quickly and efficiently with an eye for detail. On a daily basis you will be working across the business with our local business advisors, regional managers, customers and the senior management.

Your key focus is to ensure that a customer’s application for First Payments’ products is processed quickly and accurately whilst communicating the progress of the application to both the local business advisor involved and to the customer.

You will learn in-depth the processes of the payments industry and how to interact with customers. You will be working with customers and our local business advisor team on a daily basis answering queries and supporting their accounts.

Administration customer services


Telesales is a hugely important role within our business and will enable you to learn about the payments industry, the sales industry and also understand to an advanced level how businesses process payments.

Our lead generating telesales team work very closely with our regional managers and local business advisors in order to engage the local community and create a large footprint in the allocated geographies.

This role will teach you all the basics of sales and will help you grow confidence in your own abilities as a telephone operator.

Once you have come through our beginners program you will be presented with the opportunity to sell directly over the telephone and increase significantly the commissions that you can earn.


Field Sales / Local Business Advisor

Calling all Self-Employed agents!!

We at FPMS are working hard to establish a network of local business advisors that have an advance level of knowledge about our business, our industry and our customer’s needs (don’t worry all training is provided)

All advisors will go through a market leading, intensive, 3 day training course, pass an anti-bribery course and then experience further infield training that is organised by the regional managers with experienced members of our team.

As an advisor of FPMS you can expect utter transparency in the way that we work, allowing you to track the progress of every customer application through our online portal. In addition you will be supported by our lead generating telesales team, the administration team and will have a direct line in to the Sales Director and Managing Director.

Fundamentally this is a sales role and due to this we are looking for people that are hungry to grow their earnings and their customer base whilst supplying a first class customer experience. Some of the simple facts include:

Field Sales / Local Business Advisor

Regional Managers

We are actively seeking 4 more regional co-ordinators within the following areas

  • North London
  • Birmingham
  • East Anglia
  • Wales

The role of a Regional Manager is demanding, but also rewarding. In will involve the management of the local business advisors by supplying a first level of support to them, engaging them with infield training, arranging for the team to visit local exhibitions, coordinating telesales support and ensuring the progress of applications.

Reporting directly into the Sales Director, Regional Managers are core to the support of the local business advisors and core to driving the business forward. It is also expected that the Regional Manager will still sell to supplement their own income and ensure a continued personal learning.
